1. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE BY BAMOFLOG:
Bamoflog collects user submitted information such as name, e-mail address, age, and others to authenticate users and to send notifications to those users relating to the Bamoflog services or website. Bamoflog also collects other profile data including, but not limited to: personal interests, gender, sexual preference and occupation in order to assist users in finding and communication with each other.
Bamoflog also logs and collects non-personally-identifiaable information including, but not limited to IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from members and visitors to the site. This data us used to manage the website, track usage and imporve the Bamoflog services and website. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to members. User IP addresses are recorded for secutiry and monitoring purposes.
E-mail addresses are used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join the Bamoflog Community, to add users to members' friends' networks, and to send notifications related to the service. With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, a user's e-mail address is not shared or displayed to people within a user's space (profile). Members communicate on Bamoflog with each other through the Bamoflog service or website, without disclosing their e-mail addresses. Users' full names are never directly revealed to other members. To facilitate searching and finding friends and acquaintances on the Bamoflog service or website, Bamoflog allows only members to search for other members using first and last name, e-mail address, Bamoflog display name and Bamoflog URL.
Bamoflog may also use a user's e-mail address to send updates, newsletter or news regarding the Bamoflog services or website. Users may choose not to receive e-mails of this type by changing their preferences in the Accout settings page under Manage section of the Users' home page.
2. INVITATIONS AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS TO NON-MEMBERS:
Bamoflog members can invite friends to join the service by sending invitation e-mails via our automated invitation system in the second step of sign-up process, or using the My mailing list section, under Manage my friends in the Users' home page. Bamoflog stores the e-mail addresses that members provide so that the respondents may be added to the frient's list of the member sending the invitations, and also to send reminders of the invitations. Bamoflog does not sell these e-mail addresses or use them to sen any other communication besides invitations, invitation reminders, new picture notifications (only if the member who added those e-mail addreses has selected the option to). Recipients of e-mails from Bamoflog may click a link in the message to request the removal of their information from our database.
3. COOKIES USAGE:
Bamoflog uses cookies only to store members session information, in some cases. Bamoflog allows third party advertisers that are presenting advertisements on some of our pages to set and access their cookies on your computer. Advertisers' use of cookies is subjecto to their own privacy policies, no the the Bamoflog Privacy Statement.
4. EXTERNAL SITES:
Bamoflog contains links to sites that are not affiliated to Bamoflog. These links may be related to advertising or user created content. Bamoflog is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. When linking to another site, a user should read the privacy policy stated on that site. Our privacy statement only governs information collected on Bamoflog.com.
5. USER INFORMATION:
Bamoflog members may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account and accessing the Account settings & Info under Manage section in the Users' home page.
6. THIRD PARTY ADVERTISING:
Ads appearing on the Bamoflog website may be delivered to the users by Bamoflog or one of our advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they deliver to you an oline advertisement. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw or click on their advertisements. This information allows the ad servers to deliver targeted advertising that may be more relevant to you. This privacy statement covers the usage of cookies by Bamoflog, and does not cover the use of cookies by any third-party advertisers.
7. USER COLLECTED INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, Bamoflog will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary to (a) conform legal requirements or to respont to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by Bamoflog, wether or not a response is required by applicable law; (b) enforce the Bamoflog Terms of Use Agreement or to protect our rights; (c) protect the safety of public users and members of the Bamoflog services or website.
Bamoflog reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Bamoflog or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest.
8. SECURITY:
Bamoflog Member accounts are secured by member-created passwords. Bamoflog takes precautions to insure that member account information is kept priavate. We use reasonable measures to protect member information that is stored in our database, and we restrict access to unauthorized personnel. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information. Unauthorized entry of use, hardware or software failutre, and other factos may compromise the security of member information at any time. Bamoflog takes no resposibility of the user information in such case.
9. CHANGES IN THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT:
This privacy statement may change from time to time. If we make changes, we will publish them immediatly to make users aware of what the changes are, so users will always be aware of information we collect, how we use it, and when we may disclose it. A user is bound by any minor changes to the policy when she or he uses the site after those changes have been published. If, however, we are going to use users' personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify by publishing a notice under Bamoflog News section in the Users' home page by a term of 30 days, making it immediatly effective.
